I was having a bad day, one of those days when everything seems to go wrong. So I decided to go for a walk. I didn’t know where I was going. I just needed fresh air. As I was strolling along, I came across a little boy with his mom. He must be around five years old. He was eating an apple, and with the cutest voice ever, He randomly asked me if I wanted some. It instantly warms my heart, and I smiled for the first time of the day.
Long story short, this event inspires me to write this post about kindness. We live in a time where it is easy to hide behind a keyboard to bully, criticize and put other people down. But what if we choose kindness over hate? What if we choose to brighten someone’s day, even in the smallest way?

“Acts of Kindness: A random act of kindness, no matter how small, can make a tremendous impact on someone else’s life.” ― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Did you know that being kind can make you healthier? Research suggests that repetitive acts of kindness trigger hormone production such as dopamine and oxytocin, known as happy hormones. Being kind to others can make us happier and improve our well-being(1)
These hormones are essential regulators of the cardiovascular system by reducing blood pressure and protecting the heart. Besides, being king is also good for mental health as it boosts serotonin levels, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood and reduces negative emotions. Furthermore, engaging in acts of kindness helps reduce the levels of cortisol, our body’s primary stress hormone. (2)

So I’ve put together 60 random acts of kindness that I would like to share with you. Hopefully, it will inspire you to continue to the chain of kindness.
