  • Get rid of distractions like social media and TV so you can focus on journaling.
  • Set an alarm to remind yourself to stop writing or journaling after 15 minutes to avoid getting burnt out.
  • Don’t worry about spelling mistakes or grammar errors – just get whatever thoughts are in your head onto paper.
  • Stay committed to writing every day – even if it’s just one sentence per day.
